It's Our Time

During the 2012 North American International Auto Show on January 9, 2012 Acura unveiled three exciting new models including the redsigned 2013 RDX, the 2013 ILX, and a concept version of the Acura NSX super car. 


A prototype model of the 2013 RDX was unveiled and there is a lot to be excited about.  This SUV is equipped with a 273-hp engine, Pandora internet radio capability and best-on-class fuel economy.  The launch timing for this vehicle is scheduled for early April. 

The ILX will feature three power trains, including Acura's first-ever, gas-electric hybrid.  New features inlcude Pandora internet radio, and SMS with text-to-voice capability.  More information on the ILX to come in the months ahead...stay tuned.

Acura Bringing Three New Vehicles to 2012 Detroit Auto Show

A redesigned Acura RDX. A new compact sports sedan. A concept for an all-new NSX supercar.
That's all Acura is bringing to Detroit come Jan. 9 on the first media day of the 2012 North American International Auto Show.
The three reveals are a significant statement for the brand.

Celebrate 25 Years: Acura Owners stories

My name is Kiku, which is the word for “Royal Chrysanthemum” in Japan, the place of my birth.

My human companion and I met at Marin Acura, just north of San Francisco, in 1987. I was very young. I had been only 12 miles. She had looked carefully at other breeds --German, Swedish, Bavarian – but when we met, it was love at first sight.

Auto aftershocks: Quake hits U.S output; Japanese scramble to recover; prices could rise

As Japan's escalating disaster comes ashore in North America, automakers, suppliers and dealers are preparing for shortages of parts and vehicles.

-- On Thursday, March 17, American Honda Motor Co. Executive Vice President John Mendel sent a memo to U.S. Honda and Acura dealers saying the disaster in Japan will disrupt dealer orders into May.
